The solution, a towbar in front of your car, you can see good , have enough weight, torque, stopping power, control, at a fraction of the cost, maybe R 2000 max.and you have i less machine to do maintenance on. Alternatively a winch in the back of your hangar that you hook onto the landingear and press a knob. I went for the towbar, 4 hrs in JHB an custom made R 1900.00
I have a "towbar" for the Albat and the RG, problem is the plane goes in forwards, so no space for car. Have looked at the winch option, but as mentioned i can't play with a winch...... (^^) (^^)

I wouldnt use a Quad to haul around a plane.... unless its one of those mother huge ones but theyre pricy... my advise, buy a plane you can move around by hand..

Bit late for that. The planes weigh 4 tons and 2 tons respectively and full of fuel they are moer difficult to move on level ground, never mind the slop into the hangar....

Junkmail seems to have plenty of the little tractors for sale with implements. Will see if I can get one with a bossie kapper or mower, then 2 birds with one stone. Can then also tow the fuel bowser around....

Quad would have been lekka to play on though....
