Remind me to show Stef where the runway is....

At the speed you two were landing I feel fairly confident I'dve out crawled you to safety. ^

Next week I'll attached the camera to a peg and we can video some lekker landings. (^^)

Only joking Stef...I use the grass most times myself. Much friendlier on the tyres. (^^)

It is not you I am worried about it is me and Stef. The trike does not perform so well with you stuck to my nose wheel or some evasive action resulting in a ground loop. ##

Yip, on a short pole from the side of the runway would be a much better idea.

Yes dear... ^

...and now for something completely different...

...we can finally go Braai shopping boys. (!!) (^^)

The main consensus is that we will buy one like Stef's (Truckwheel base and grid and virtually indestructible) or alternatively a drum braai. This will be our main braai and then we will also repair the existing 1915 World War one model to use for the bigger occasions. (Future episodes etc etc)

Please submit your pics and pricing here so we can all be involved and make a good choice. Braai must be under R1100.

I took my boy Josh (almost 5 years old) and Abby (8) up for their first flights yesterday afternoon. At first I was a bit unsure of what especially Josh’s reaction would be on take off, but it now turns out they both just want more and more. I could not get the trike parked, the sun was almost down when I eventually told them that enough is enough! I have created two new future pilots in one afternoon!

I have such nice picks of this, but I cant seem to get then small enough to post.

You know how I land. I am not always sure if it will be the grass or the bricks, I only find out when my wheels tough the ground! I aim for the middle and hope I at least touch down somewhere near ML

Looks great Stef. A very excited father as well. (^^)

Thanks Faiz for the saamvlieg this morning. WX was superb. We are going to have WX like that when we fly to Barberton, hey hey!!^*^^ ^*^^ Only landed at 8:30 and still it was supper smooth. Stef, Dionne had a pulmonary this morning when she lost tracking of me after about 10 min into the flight. We won't be able to rely on the live tracking as a safety feature. The GSM signal is just not reliable enough. The radio from ground to air is also wispeltuurig. Lets discuss when we see next time.

Bundy, we go with what you suggested for the braai. One truck wheel type like Stefs one and we fix the museum piece, tank left over parts, at the Lapa. The heavier and less attractive the better. Maybe then it will stay. ## What I would also suggest is we (Dionne) get a water proof cover for it, then it won't rust through so quickly.

Friday and the weekend looks good. See you all then. (^^)

Right, here is the braai I think we should get.

Stef has found this at Hokaai and it is R900.00 Identical to his one. (^^)

I suggest we buy this one as the club braai and then we possibly look at building a bigger stainless one (see Nicks suggestion above) or look at repairing the relic....that we can decide later.

For now this has got mine and Stefs vote... and other votes? :)
