Why don't you fly anymore?
Because of the damned wind?

I've been very lucky with about 3 low wind days in the last 3 weeks (below 10kt) :D :D Problem is, all 3 were rainy

I have logged about 8 hours in 3 weeks (including training)

Today looks great :D :D 1/30 already :D :D - (until the Gale Force 40kt  SW reaches here)

From the weather report I see its in EL already, isn't it FAWG? How heavy is the "heavy rain" on the met actuals?

Hi FF,

Yes, it has hit us...heavy overcast this morning with light drizzle around 9am and now the drizzle has turned to light downpour with the odd heavy burst....

I believe that the cold front will bring with some significant wind too.....wind still relatively light here....

Now if someone could just combine the Kalahari WX with the sea views     Here CAVOK and 30+deg no wind...

Even if I did have apass to finish my trike MPL, while in Durbs the WX was such that I did not see a single ML flying over beach (usually plenty when taking kids for their sunrise walk on beack every year) in the 8 days we were there.

-Hmm mmm mm , Just had my second best flight this weekend - First one was when I went solo way back when -
Visited La Mercy this weekend - to be be exact Sunday morning for an introductory flight with their new baby - what a surprise - The Dragonfly is like flying the old Windlass , with the BEEEG wing low and slow , what a pleasure - you can skim the beach or dance amoung the clouds -
Hey Dave well done I want to do a conversion - possibilities game counting , traffic control etc - you want to fly till you run out of juice -
For the other guys and gals eat your hearts out been there done it got the tshirt . - May the Leprachauns protectya , and dont forget my Christmas wish .
