We are just waiting on a few of our slower pilots to confirm! Is there a cut off date for entries!?

Gentlemen!!... Who said that it's going to be easy! I have just spoken to Lt Col Clive Shepherd of the SAAF Museum and he has faxed a three page overflight request and Indemnity form which has to be completed and signed by each pilot and faxed to DHQ Air Force Command post.This HAS to be completed BEFORE any landing on a Military Base will be allowed.

I have received the said form via fax, bad copies. I will go to the AFB tomorrow and get decent specimens and upload them here for everyone to then return by email(completed) Thanks Darkhelmet. Great idea!! Will the server cope?

I think that DH's idea is a great one...I am way out in the Northern Cape and I really do not want to miss this opportunity...My trike is already in JHB with Larry from Freedom flight school, making sure all is ok.

So please guys I will really appreciate all the help....

Thanks Darkhelmet. It will sort out a HUGE..admin problem could you inform those who have not used fax to email before, how it will work I'll upload the forms tomorrow in pdf. Much easier to download. GUYS PLEASE! get the forms back to me by next Wednesday at the latest. The guys that don't complete the forms will NOT! be able to participate. I wouldn't want anyone to miss this one as a result of a silly admin glitch.

I have fax to mail on my system, i can recieve faxes via pc/email, but not send one.(dont have a fax thingy at home)
i would prefer a form to fill in,print and sign,scan and email return,if possible.
Thats my .....silly admin glitch.

Hi all, wow this event has really grown into what i think is going to be a very memorable event. I am unable to fly in with you all (only a student) but would love to be there on the day. I take it spectators will be allowed in through the gate? Would love to come through and take some pics etc.

Question..... If you are carring pax, does his/her name also have to be on the form, or must they fill in a form all of their own?

Hi Guys

Attached are the forms. Kindly complete the forms and fax them to me on the following no:0865518081 which is a fax to email no. On receipt, I will tick your name on the list so that we can see who is outstanding. Will the guys who have booked on behalf of someone else...Please! contact that person and make sure that they complete the forms.

Once I have received all the forms I will personally deliver them to the Command Post as requested. Please take note!!! that one of the forms has a request for fuel requirements. THERE WILL NOT BE ANY FUEL AVAILABLE so PLEASE!! indicate that you DO NOT!!...want fuel as this opens up another can of worms and we don't want to go down that road.

The forms must be returned to me on or before WEDNESDAY 15th. ANYONE WHO HAS NOT DONE THIS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE!!!!!!!!

For those that do not have faxes my email is lesm@m-centre.co.za scan the documents and email them to me
I trust that all of you,who have confirmed, will participate in this exciting event. Spectators will be allowed to attend the event . Parking space will be provided inside the base at a fee of R30.00 otherwise parking outside the base will be free
