Aircraftpool

Postby tthierry » Sat Dec 13, 2008 5:24 pm

You must know what carpool is. Why not do it by air with your aircraft?

First, I'd like to know whether you may advertise spare seats in your aircraft during private flights in the RSA?
Then, if allowed, would you use a website to offer these spare seats?

Here in Europe, regulations depend on the country. In France for exemple, where I live, a private pilot may advertise a private flight and even share the cost of the flight with the passengers. He may not, though, earn money and has to pay the same thing as any other passenger. What about RSA?

I have an aircraftpool website here in Europe and I wonder whether it would be usefull to extend it to RSA?

The site can be visited at http://www.sharearide.eu
It is free to use. Adding RSA airfields so that you can use it would not be much work.

Please let me know what you think.
