Lets help a fellow aviator if we can?

Postby Gyronaut » Sat Oct 11, 2008 6:33 pm

A fellow Gyronaut that has come all the way to the Fairest Cape for the SAGPA AGM developed a technical problem on his gyro's rotorbrake.

The spares are in Johannesburg and need to come down to Cape Town as soon as possible so it can be fixed and he and his wife can be on their way.

Couriers will only collect on Monday, deliver here on Tuesday, spares replaced he will only be able to leave on Wednesday earliest. Stuck here without transport or reason to be here aint any fun.

Is there anyone we know flying to Cape Town that might be prepared to bring the spares down with them before then?

Contact Len on 082 450 6072 and lets see if we can help him?

Today's weather was perfect for flying.. Where were you Dirk?? Lots of activity in your hangar... 4 x Mt03's, 1x Sycamore had an awesome flight around the penisula!

You're right though... I can't think of much worse things to happen than to be stuck in Cape Town for a few days!
