Just a thought.....we're always on the lookout for a destination for a fly-away?

Well, let's say you happen to be flying over the sea, doing some whale watching  and Rotax stops, out the blue  , you declare an emergency and your only "safe" landing spot is the carrier, legally they aren't allowed to shoot you down  . Obviously you gotta hope the Americans see it that way too ?

Nah .., keep it simple.

Go in low level, very low level. Stay between the swells.

Select the right frequency and yell "TALLY-HO" once within 200m range of the Big Stick !

Do a shoot-up past the conning tower and THEN get the hell out of there ! Very, very, very low level. puff

Mind the lurking sub-marine though !

Keep on dreaming !

Actually how it would work is you need 4 or 5 Trikes all heading straight for the ship. As you pass low level past the ship two on either side the middle one does a touch and go on the deck - while everybody's attention is focused or should i say scattered.

Who they going to isolate if this all happens simultaneously.

Baas, ek smeek jou, moenie my verf fabriek toe stuur nie. Die droom fabriek werk beter vir my. Dankie baas.

Maar Baas, ek sal my drome volgende keer meer realisties begin maak. Wat van 'n ge-organiseerde fly-inn na Robben Island ?

 TAILSPIN ! Now we are talking sence man !!

5 man formation is excellent, but we need another 2 trikes at 750 ft above the TR as "top-cover", (and at the same time as observation posts), to prevent subversive action from the ship. Top cover to be armed with spat mounted .38 specials to prevent enemy taking off.

Ideally another 3 or 4 trikes sould be on standby at Morningstar as back-up, in case the first "touch and go" fails. puff

  You see if we can confuse the Ships defences with enough aircraft round the ship they will not even notice the string of touch and go's.

Vini, Vidi, ... and now bugger off ? So much for courtesy ?

Fare well Big Stick, Teddy ... or what ever you are adorned by !

I will not follow your war games with our Navy in the Indian Ocean, nor will I watch your prowess, and your beauty will not be applauded by me from now on, and untill iternity ! You know why ?

Because you did not bother to invite me flowering your deck. Therefor I will not watch you sailing, anymore ! (**)

I am angry at you Teddy !

The least you could have done was invite microlighters for a Fly-INN ! Hell man, a cup of coffee or at least a touch and go, but ... be it as it may ...

Next time when I visit the USA, I will blatantly and high-handedly ignore your visitations. So be it ! It was your choice, take it on the chin !

Ag Jirre, laat ek liewer net verder droom !!! ^

Bye-bye all ! xxx
