NEW P&M QuikR

Postby BIG-G » Fri Sep 05, 2008 10:10 am

Fantatsic news P&M finally have BCAR section S approval on their new Topless QuikR wing. This wing will bolt straight onto any GT450 with a 912S motor.

The wing can also now be folded without removal from the trike. Less hangar space needed!!

The topless QuikR is the fastest and most advanced weightshift today with a 100MPH cruise and slow 40MPH stall. With a 450kg maximum takeoff weight and tested to +6 and -3gm the wing has been rig tested for pitch stability. The quick rig and de-rig facility helps to use as little hangar space as possible and in as little as 5 minutes. The QuikR complies with BCAR Section S issue 4 which is the toughest airworthiness standard in the world.

The QuikR is a no-nonsense high-speed touring aircraft ideal for eating up the miles with a hands-off trim range of 65MPH - 100MPH using the unique electric trimmer as first used on the original Quik. Now with a strut-braced topless wing, distinctive winglets, and slightly increased wing area of 11.43 Sq m.

The Quik just got quicker!

At current exchange rate you are looking at roughly R85000.00 excluding shipping and Vat. This is just the wing.

Complete aircraft, full house spec, landed with vat at current rate. R440k

Flying just got more affordable again. vhpy

Can nowput 4 of those babies in the space occupied by 1 trike in the past. = Hanger fees dwn. vhpy

Can now park this baby on a trailer after every flight amd pull trailer home = zero hanger fees, vhpy vhpy

Upped safety standard = piece of mind and can convince softness much more easily vhpy

R440,000 not that much for what it can do. :?:

Will go as fast as a Cessna 150 ,

Land shorter land slower and use less fuel than a C150. vhpy

Can see regular 40 foot containers arriving. vhpy

Kind regards,

Gunter Rostek.
