Alex and team compliments on all your efforts so far. Eagerly awaiting some flight test data and reports. Some pics of her in flight would be nice as well.

Good luck!!

Thanks Guys lets see how see fly’s, I really appreciates your opinions and I believe the Thunderbolt will go well over 110 m/ph so lets see. I hope she can give us the edge and take us to a next level of trike’s.

Any updates on this? - Is the website up and running or is there anywhere we can see the prototype?

Thanks

Any comments regarding safety and structural ratings? How does one go about matching the undercarraige to a wing? I know that the equivalent 'expensive' alternatives are built to very stringent structural and safety rating requirements - maybe also why they cost more?. The undercarraige of this trike looks quick but the wing looks far less sophisticated than that on a GT450 for example?

good luck with your project all the same

Accoring to the provisional spec/equipment sheet (I think on page 6 ? of this topic) it does not seems that Alex has taken short cuts on any component. No use to attach a fast buggy to a slow wing.

The homework has been done well.

Shall buy one, should I be in the position to afford one. (What about a demo model for NAM ????)

Just from the last 2 photos, I am rather inclined to say that this looks indeed like a very high performance sleek wing. Well done so far Alex !! (^^)

I would however like to see a photo of the upper surface if possible, Alex ? Maybe also a photo in flight of the upper surface ?

The GT is a quick wing, but it has always disturbed me to see the creasing of the leading edges and upper surface of the GT450's at 85mph cruise speeds. It might be as a result of the ram-air intakes on the leading edge. Why not a Ram-air scoop in the undersurface like Wills Wing did on the Ram-Air wing in 1994 ? The faster you flew, the stiffer (and cleaner) the wing became ?

Alex, one point of critisism... why those ugly ## exposed bolts and nuts on the wing struts ? Can't they be cleaned up with flush grubb-screws ? Just my observation ... "die puntjies op die "i"".

Well done Alex !

I fly one of these wings ( not the small one but the a 15 ) and i love seeing the bolts makes me very happy and I can cruiser at 73 mph TAS ,no pod , at the coast so very happy with the wing , so happy that we have three of them in our family and it's built in SA helps if you need cables or some parts and Jenya is a cool Dude
