Posted on behalf of Jeremy Woods, EAA Auditorium Coordinator:

The next EAA Workshop takes place at the EAA Auditorium, Rand Airport on Wed 03 Sept 08.

This presentation is being put on by ATNS as part of a drive to improve safety and good communications and is being billed as the “GA Pilot ATC Forum”. Opportunity to get answers for all the questions you always wanted to ask about ATCs and the extremely important role they play in our safety. Find out why they claim “WE NEVER LEAVE YOUR SAFETY TO CHANCE”.

Why can’t I fly Special VFR in IMC?
Why should GA aircraft be transponder equipped?
Why are GA flights allocated delays in VFR conditions at an airfield?
Is there a need for more distinctive VFR reporting points in the Special Rules Area?
