The 532 in question must have been my old engine, an attempt was made to fit it to the Mizer but it never flew as far as I know. The reason for the engine swap was because this engine had dual ignition and low hours. Many of the 532's only had single ignition but this one had a clever dual system developed by Trevor Davis of TDE using the automotive Luminition breakerless ignition. An additional sparkplug hole was machined into the head and two independant luminition systems wired in. Current was supplied by the standard power output. Very smart...

Ok, here is the truth. Appearence verses reality. A caption for an uncaptioned photograph.
The photo of the Aquilla vs the GT450...... well....that was Noel and Grant doing a formation flypassed for the photographers.
No race just a great tight formation with a brilliant GT pilot.
Remember, don't always believe what you see.
