Hmmmm

There are two routes that I used to use, sadly niether of them are particularly easy and both of them are long from JHB south..

1. Take the highway (m1) and then the eastern Bypass (n1) to pretoria which will take you past the eastern suburbs, (lynwwood, morletta etc...) just stay on the highway until it connects with the wibank highway. You turn onto the Witbank highway and just go straight. About twenty five to thirty Kms from the initial intersection is a turnoff the name of which escapes me right now..(help mr agent ??) but its before the toll gate. In fact there is a little toll gate coming off the highway. Cost you R 10.00. At the offramp turn right back over the highway and 5-6kms away on the left is the entrance to Rhino.- Very well marked. Go in there and just follow you nose until you see the gate to the hangars.

2. There is another route which takes you past the airport (ORT)... then take the Bapsfontein Off ramp - I cant unfortunately give you too much more but with a few twists and turns you reach microland. Turn Right and then left and then left again.,.. sorry mate - IM not being at all helpful on this option but perhaps someone else can add to it...

Good luck, its not difficult..

The other thing to consider is what time your going through... If its very (5.30 a,m) early then the highway route is probably quicker. If its later, through the back roads of Bapsfontein could be a better option..??

PM agent for directions - he can tell you from kempton park..

Cheers

Thanks I appreciate the assistance. I will check a map book we will only be going through after 8. I think for me the Bapsfontein way is the better option. I just can't seem to find it on my GPS software.

From R21 take R25 towards Bronhorstpruit / Bapsfontein. After +- 15km get to T-junction (At Bapsfontein). Turn right and after 1km you will get to 4-way stop. Turn left towards Bronkhorstspruit (still the R25). After +- 18km turn left towards Cullinan. After +- 9km Rhino Park on your right.
