Pilot error!! Great, get the Almighty to bail you out when you forget to check your fuel. If they hadn't made it the article could have been about the Darwin awards. Instead they chose to turn their basic mistake into an affirmation of faith.

Maybe this is a bit strong. There are many things that are outside our control in the unnatural environment we have chosen to play in. There is a strong element of Grace in any completed flight. But giving your Maker extra work because you run out of fuel.........
