582 Bouquets for the CEO of the CAA

Postby alanmack » Sun Mar 02, 2008 8:26 pm

Story titled : 582 BOUQUETS FOR THE CEO OF THE CAA

This initiative seeks to impress upon the CEO of the CAA that Microlighters whilst willing to support constructive engagement seek urgent attention to the MISASA 300hr 582 exemption application with a full explanation of reasoning (if the application is turned down).

SMS “Your Name & FLOWERS” to Mike Blyth on 083 550 1163 in support of MISASA sending the CEO five hundred and eighty two (582) bunches of flowers on 1 April 2008 if this matter is not resolved by then.

At last a mature, appropriate and timely response by MISASA. Install a lot of confidence in the "representative" body, this does.

Hi observer,

I don't get the tone of your post since there is no smileys in it, but go read the whole article please with all the alternatives, Alan just quoted a short portion of it. I think Alan did a good summary of the whole situation in his article...

Flowers

Actually it is not a MISASA idea - it's my suggestion that has been put to the membership. All paperwork (and a major effort to gather the facts) are complete. Bureaucratic channels can take time to respond so this is but the floating of a very visible "nudge" - 1 April will be a month after submission. Consider - with press in attendance 582 bunches of flowers across the car park with notes asking for "service delivery". Anyway only one person has responded so it seems "nudging" is not supported yet.
