The Savannah is a STOL a/c, and handles very nicely, in my opinion one of the best. I am building one at the moment, and should be flying shortly. I can recommend the type.

I flew in one with the agent about a year or so back.

If you want a STOL aircraft and some excitement that gets pretty close to flying a trike (manoeuvrability wise) then serious consideration should be given to this type.

Looks like an ugly duckling, but flies like a swan.

The Savannah is a stunning aircraft and performs extremely well....It's great value for money (Despite the SAR to Euro at the moment) The new VG wing shows marked improvement.

I instruct on the Savannah in East London (Over 100 hours of instruction on the Savannah type) as well as on several other similar types and I live in the same town as the Savannah agent (who has sold over 35 Savannah kits/planes). Several of our local pilots have bought them.....

Here is a link about the private build of one recently that I test flew on completion..... http://www.avcom.co.za/phpBB2/viewtopic ... on&start=0

When you get back to SA, PM me and I'll give you my cell phone number....I'll gladly discuss the plane with you..... I'm not connected in any way to the Savannah agent...
