Just to set the record straight.

White rhino's - tame like cows. Very strong and quick when they need to be - but still, not aggressive and generally very docile.

Wonder if you would be standing there for a couple of blacks :?:  "Me thinks" not :!:

Racist!

Hi All,

Just to set the record straight – I was clearly referring to Diceros bicornis (black rhino) as opposed to Ceratotherium simum (white rhino).

Regrettably, it seems that my post got misinterpreted by some who found me “racist” :!:

The black rhino just happens to be a mean, unpredictable, often aggressive son-of-a-beach. In one weekend at Mkuzi, 3 cars were rammed by the black rhino. Even the rangers tread carefully when they are around.

By contrast, the white rhino is docile. At Umfolzi, the unguided trails take you through the grass lands inhabited by the whites. The white rhino graze grass much like cattle and their dung is fine as opposed to the black rhino which favour juvenile Acacia. Black rhino dung contains twigs.

Black rhino are slightly smaller than white rhino and have pointed lips as opposed to the square flat lips of the white rhino.

Hope that this clears up any misunderstanding.

Kind regards
John ZU-CIB

Tis the time to be Merry.....

Don't stress John, we all understood your reference to Black Horns....
They really do have a tough digestive system (......hmmmmm, right to the exhaust bit!)

Thank goodness I don't have to pass twigs!

Haay man.
Why shupa the snake so that he spits out his hard earned dinner?
Now he will just have to find another pet!

Porche a young boxer bitch with the best personality you have ever seen in a dog. She is almost human. You meet her and you will want to take her home.

My little princess - She loves me to bits but also don't take nonsense with a fight record of 2 - 0

1. Thief broke into our yard - Scottie allerted me to his presence and then attacked the bastard, she was willing to lay down her life to protect me (He got away, Scottie fine - Long story)

2. Alsatian decided to pick a fight with her - Big mistake, Scottie kicked but big time

Most remarkable, courageous breed of dog I have ever seen. There is a lesson to be learnt from these little dogs - Confront challenges head first, no fear, no matter what the odds vhpy
