Easycockpit

Postby Dickey » Tue Feb 19, 2008 8:13 am

I am looking for Easycockpit software to try out on my HTC Tytn 2 celphone. I can purchase this new but would like to test this out first and therefore do not want to spend a lot of money on something I might find not working to my satisfaction.

Has anybody used this before? Is it any good? Anybody out there with a package not being used?

I use the EasyPlan on my laptop and EasyCockpit on my HP PDA. They are both great packages and I can recommend them. Just need to check that it will work with the operating system on your HTC!

Contact Stephen Hunter on 011 793 4585

Email: stephen@easyplan.co.za

I am sure he'll be able to assist....

If you are successful with a test, let us know as I want to upgrade to the TyTN as well.....

Before splashing out a lot of mone or Easyplan, have a look at GPSDash2 at
http://wimobi.com/gpsdash/

You need to scan in and calibrate your own maps, but it then has a higher definition moving map than Easyplan, and of course it does not give al the fancy information Easyplan gives, bar that already on the map. See that unmentionable magazine for a review I did last year.

Thanks Guys, I have downloaded GPSdash2 as you get a free trial version up to 100k data. Not sure how this will limit the use of it. Will try this first. If no good I will get the EasyCockpit software after talking to vliegvark's father.
