Just imagine the whole wing being one solar panel to charge the batteries constantly whilst flying and we all can afford to fly alot more.

Honestly, I'd be more than willing to fly a 3-axis using this concept. Longer wings and I can even take someone up with me. Hope someone pushes this tegnology to the very limit! No more will my "hardness" complain that I spend too much moolas on petrol to fly...(If I was single, I would fly every day of my life, weather permitting)

Another interesting idea might be a thick, long, high lift airfoil section filled with helium or similar to assist the electric engine with lift - imagine being able to safely fly low and slow all the time! Man, I hope something along these lines is in the making. Grass root aviation becoming even more grass root
