Howzit Owl, I eventually decided to join the forum and after logging on this morning for the first time I saw you where also online, this gives me the opportunity to make my first post. GPS....well, depends on what you'd like to do with it. I recently bought the Nuvi200 mainly due to it being relatively inexpensive and wanting to use it mainly for road travel. I have used on the trike a couple of times and it works quite well if you'd like to go from point A to B using the off-road function. It shows most of the airfields and those it does not show you can save the coordinates as favourites. Sure it does not give you elevation, precise heading etc, but that's why you have an altimeter, compass and all the other fancy instruments. The other thing it does not give you is FAP's, FAR's etc, but you're probably aware of these in the area you fly. I'm quite happy using this for now, the main thing is I did not spend a fortune on it.
Hope we get the issues with the trike sorted out soon, I'm burning to put in a couple of hours and sure you are too!
