Hi guys

I'm struggling to upload photos using 3G....

Any advice or work around?

Hi John.

Chances are that even with the 3G card, you are not guaranteed 3G. You are most probably only in a GPRS reception area.

takes about 3x longer to download the same stuff.

Also important for folk to 'shrink' and or reduce the pixel size of pictures before posting them. I'm sitting with 3G but only GPRS reception in Prieska, and even the photos I have posted (which are considerably reduced in quality), take a while download.

Fortunately with 3G you only pay for data downloaded, not time taken to download..........

Hi there

I'm getting 1.2G download and 384kb upload. Sitting in Kimberley now in a triangulated area....

Prieska (and Postmasburg) still have to sit with GPRS and we don't even have ADSL there yet!

Will try again. I know there are port problems with reloading of pages etc. compliments of Vodacom!
