Thanks guys, yip - I bought me an Airborne Edge X Classic 582 today. (^^) (^^) (^^) (!!) (!!) :D :o

After selling Precious (my Mainair 582) a few weeks ago it has been a rollercoaster ride of emotion to decide what to buy next.

One day I would be absolutely convinced that I need to move to a small 3 axis, such as Challenger (Great airy) and the next day I would be having a 2 hour phone conversation with Dieselfan on how to import a second hand Air Creation trike :D

This pattern continued with me being undecisive as to what I want to fly/buy.

I guess the deciding moment came the other day - A lazy Saturday morning at home, no airy to fly so I decided to watch a dvd......first one I see in the dvd rack, Coast to Coast...........Game, set and match... I watched it and I knew what I need to fly - I had a lump in my throat and life made sense again :D :D

Taking budget constraints into account I narrowed my wishlist down to 4 trikes. An Air Creation Clipper, Pegasus Quantum, Aerotrike Cobra or Airborne. We all know which I decided on. :D

Matilda (ZU-CZB) was dropped of at Jenya this afternoon to fit my ballistic (keep the wife happy - 3rd time it is being fitted  )

The aviation community has often stunned me with fellow aviators just being great okes and helping in any way possible, my buying of this Airborne was no exception. Colin Potgieter from Cato who sold me the trike went to alot of trouble to make the buying of this trike a great experience for me, even offering me accomodation at his house and teaching me with my 10 thumbs how to properly derig a wing. Thanks so much Colin!

Can't wait to see Roodekoppies and Vaalkop from 300ft AGL again :D :D

D

Hi Big D.

Congrats. I'm sure you'll enjoy CZB. I was at Cato & own the sister trike ZU-CZA but am now in E.Cape. You can't go wrong with Airborne.

Cheers
