Hangerage in Margate for December

Postby IceAge » Fri Oct 19, 2007 2:15 pm

I am going down to the south coast in December (16 to 27) and will be in Margate and Ramsgate. I am planning on taking my trike with to do some flying along the coast. Is there anybody that can point me in the right direction as to where I can get hangerage during this time or who to contact. I also need to know what the standard procedures are for Margate (FAMG). Are there any other smaller airports catering specifically for microlights in the vicinity or is Margate the only strip in the area?

Thanks

John
Your place might just be flooded with all the "inland" pilots visiting Natal.

Thanks for the info. I will get hold of the guys and holding thumbs that they will be able to help.

It would super to have a get together. Meeting new pilots and talking about flying will be just what the doctor ordered.

I will keep this posting up to date with details closer to the time.

Thanks again

Just tell her it's the trike or golf clubs, and a round of golf can take up to 10 hrs. :)

Keep us updated on this topic.

You could bring it down to "sell it"

That will give you a good excuse for visiting other airfields for test flights

Theoretically I can say I have been invited to attend a fly in to further the bonds between the EAA and Microlighters :>> I am sure taking the trike would make me more part of the group

That is a noble cause. I think you are honour bound to bring it.

Seems I may be in Debben. Will have to come and extend a hand of friendship to the poor souls visiting from the North. (nothing to do with flying, fishing or drinking beer  )
