Howit ouens!
How many people out there play flight sim and who will be interested in playing online?
I for one have never done it, but will be dead keen to give it a go.
If anyone has ever played online out there and can assist on getting a session up and ruuning let me know please - its loads of fun apparently.

You can only tie the record for flying low.
There was a thread a while ago on the Microlighters Yahoo group about guys in CT that did just that - You had one guy designated as the tower (actual tower personnel I think!) and you had to do proper radio work, follow traffic control instructions etc. CAA has a section for virtual aviators as I re-call...
Might be a good way for new pilots like myself to build their confidence & practice their radio work!

Hi. Checkout www.ivao.org. They have a server in South Africa as well. There are ATC controllers all over the world and pilots all over as well flying in a virtual sky. Audio is available where you can talk with the tower and other aircraft via microphone. These guys are very strict and adhere to ICAO rules. You can go through training as ATC or pilot training as well and I know that a lot of international training centres use them to train ATC's
