Yes - got mine a while ago already...

From http://www.take2.co.za/list.php?type=2& ... imulator+x

I think it's very well done, but you need a BEEEG PC to enjoy it...

Guys,

I saw some complaints from some folks that FSX is not what it's cracked up to be (on AVCom), and I see that they complain most about quality...

There are also some complaints about the aircraft quality.

I use FSX, and I must tell you I am happy.

Perhaps my PC is just powerful enough, I don't know...

But here are some things I know:

FSX was ACTUALLY designed for Windows Vista - not XP.

It runs better in Vista, but I am already happy in my XP...

THe Microlight is very well done...

You can ACTUALLY see cars on highways, animals in the open area (elephants are cool) and birds in the skies...

I dig it!

From comments on AvCom

What's interesting is that the frame rates irrespective of resolution are the same, which shows something else is to blame

http://simhq.com/_technology2/technology_093a.html#top

Look at any of the GFX settings - frame rates are almost the same...perhaps a better benchmarking site will do?
