Flight Suits

Postby Arnulf » Mon Nov 06, 2006 10:29 am

Hi,

There was a thread on flight suits a couple of months ago, unfortunately I cannot find it anymore  .

I need a flight suit for myself and my better half. Emphasis more on practicaliby and comfort, than on price. Any recommendations, and exprience?

Regards,
Arnulf

Flight Suit...

Postby ForensicFlyer » Mon Nov 06, 2006 10:54 am

Hey Arnulf...

I personally find my birthday suit VERY comfrotable...

Wanna know where I got it, or can you figure it out?

Tell the softness it's also much better on the eyes of observers...

Hehe!

Good post though... I must also get two...

hey Arnulf, still learning so not a whole lot of experience with flight suites. I just bought 2 from Icarus Skydiving. You choose colour scheme etc.so custom made for you. They also make sure you are happy with fit etc and modify if nescessary. Flown 2x with it and I am very happy. Price is reasonable as well.......R1200. You can give them a call on 0114528858, ask for Manny..........also check out http://www.icarus.co.za/apsfl/flightsuit.html
and design your own suite.

Yip!
Icarus is the way to go. Very comfortable and you can take your own measurements on the website. Just take the left breast pocket as well. You wont believe all the stuff you can put in there.

You need to decide on wether you want a summer suit or winter one.

It is probably not neccesary for a summer one as normal clothes and a jacket do the same thing. http://www.icarus.co.za/ is a good site and there is another (flight wear or something) advertised in some of the mags I will have a look for you.
Remember (without trying to advertise) you can get a microlighers.co.za jacket or sweat shirt at www.ShirtShop.co.za and profits will be used for this forum for fly ins, prizes etc

Icarus is what I use and find them very professional.

Having a customised flight-suit also makes the difference.

Thanks for the input.
In that case it will be an Icarus flight suit.
