Hy is heelwat ruimer binne-in as die Bushbaby. Wil jy hom he met n stert of n neuswiel? 912 of 912 S ?

Hi Boet,

Dankie !

'n Stertwiel verseker, soek mos 'n bos errie ! Lady T stem saam

Groete,
Rudi

The basic requirements are that it must be a 2 seater, side by side, have a reasonable range and good short/bad field capabilities, be able to carry at least some luggage and not be too slow, at least 85mph cruise would be good. A 4-stroke engine is preferred as is good visibility (for photography) Last but not least it should not be to expensive to buy or maintain ! The plane will be used mostly for a bit of cross country work and bush flying to get to good photo spots in the wild.
Non of your choice will beat the Kitfox 4/5/7 tail dragger. You can Contact Etienne Oosthuizen from live your dream Aviation, I spoke to him a day or so ago and he has a Kitfox 7 kit available, also a Kitfox 4 taildragger ZU-AFY  They are extremely strong machines that can really take a pounding   PM me if you want his Number or more info :D :D

Regards,
Horned Adder

PS I am not an agent for them, just have owned one and had good experience from them

HA
Again unfortunately the price of the Kitfox is the killer (Exchange rate :x :x :x ).

Ron v. Lear (EAA 322) had an original kitfox kit for sale for R110K some years back. It may still be available?

Boet also got the honour of a PC12 once getting stuck on (next to) the runway, but his story to tell

Hi T,

Hmmmm, sounds good but I have heard that boss of yours is a real pain in the proverbial  You are going to have to sweet talk him into the long weekend
