Hey Morph you a star and a gentleman! Checking that site out now. Spoken to Aviation Engines and was told that Rotax never published an installation manual on the 618. I do have a manual on the installation and maintenance of Rotax two stroke engines but only show the 447,503 and 582. We all know that the installation of the 618 is the same as the 582. Niren said he would give me a letter to that regard though.

Just checked it out. The page tells you that all is refering to the 618, but the actual manuals do not mention the 618 at all only the rest as I mentioned before. This will have to do accompanied by a letter from Niren to the CAA in this regard. The CAA are the ones that want the installation manual before they issue my authority to fly.......the hunt goes on! :?

You sure they want the engine installation manual? Not the aircraft flight manual? Strange peoples them at CAA
Mind you, could be right, 'cos they asked me what engine mine had in and when I said 582, they didn't say another word, then asked for the aircraft flight manual.
Airspeed, altitude, or brains....you always need at least two
