Ahhh, but then on closer investigation of the specs, Leprachaun might be onto something exiting after all.

Verner Motor: 2.64 x 3.785 = 9.9924 l/hr @ 75% power.

Rotax 912: 4.3 x 3.785 = 16.276 l/hr @ 75% power.

So from this it appears that the Verner Motor uses a third less fuel.
I am getting exited again.
