Swaziland overflight

Postby grosvenor » Sun Jul 30, 2006 8:51 pm

What's the story with overflying Swaziland? Do you need to get clearence for it? I want to fly from Sodwana Bay direct Malelane, low level. I know plenty of guys do it, but do you need to get permission first? I assume that if you want to land in Swaziland you have to go through the whole international flight saga, clear customs & immigration at Durban or Kruger and Matsapha. What's the equivalent of 124.8 in Swaziland, 125.0??

Good Day

I am from swaziland and spent many hours flying there, no problem, General aviation frequency is 125,00 and the tower CTA (or whatever) is 124,9. If you are worried at all just phone Jabu (airport manger) on his cell (09268) 6033933 and just mention my name (Paul Lintott) but otherwise just do it !!

Cheers Paul
