Crane Hazard - BRAKPAN SRE

Postby John Boucher » Thu Jul 04, 2013 8:36 pm

Hi everybody... just got off the phone with Heksie (Santjie White ATNS)
This crane is erected at Redruth Transport, Plot 81 Koot Street, Withok Estates, Brakpan.

It has no lights and is situated in the Johannesburg Special rules East area/Buffer Zone/CTR boundry.

I have informed as many operators as possible but we need to spread the word. It has been reported to the CAA.
EXERCISE CAUTION PLEASE!!!!

Shot, Santjie said she would check for a light for the "heli-ops" otherwise it's plain VFR - keep an even better lookout 'cause the bastard doesn't have a radio to report his position ;-)
