Grand Central says no to motorgliders and mic

Hi a motorglider was refused permission to land at Grand Central yesterday apparently no motorgliders or microlights are allowed to land there?????

Probably got to do with circuit speeds? Doesn't really surprise me... FAWB the same....I think trikes can still land at Rand though... (^^)

thats rude!! Motor gliders land at similar speeds to the Cheetah -- AND the Navion for that matter!!

We landed a Sky ranger at Grand Central, probably faster than most C150's

Landed at FAWB more than once, just give them a call beforehand, very friendly atc
