Aeromax - Bikeplane?

Postby Papalima » Sun Sep 08, 2013 7:10 am

Good day

A friend of mine shared this bikeplane with me, he is always busy designing and building model planes and is now starting to do the real thing - would it be possible to get this plane registered in SA and then process to get the license to fly?

We are both keen to get into the air and do the real thing, any commentson this one?

Duck Rogers took this pic of me at Oshcosh 2012. Looks like it could be fun to fly. And a tailie to boot. puff

Also leaves one with a nice draft up the shaft.

This Ultralite is sold as a kit. I dont see any problem registering it in SA.

Looks like a ie plane, I like the Aeromax - more sporty, nice because they require small engines to fly which aren't expensive! :)
