Newbie Introductions

Also not new to the forum, and still have LOTS to learn.

Bobthebuilder, aka Byron Kirkland. I live in Pomona, and work in the engineering sector. I / we make stuff for the mines, banks and electronic industries for as living.

Having been hangered at Microland, Panorama, Petit and Rhino Park, sometimes twice ..... I tend to be a bit of a loner and a drifter.
I'm moving back to Petit this afternoon.

My name is Paul and I fly from Microland. Home of the Tailwinds. I am one of the founder members of the Tailwinds, who by the way are the best bunch of guys and girls...ever.

I am an Electronic Engineer, employed in the ICT business in Pretoria. I live in Groenkloof Pretoria. I have been flying microlights since 1980, with a long absence from 1988 until 2009. I fly an Aquilla I with a 582 and did my NPL training at Springs airfield. Flying (mostly talking K@K on the ground), birding and exploring the road less travelled, are my favourite past times.
