Bushbaby with Subaru engines

Mine is not quite a Bushbaby but an Apollo Fox cousin, driven by a Subaru EA71.

Very light composite blades and hub made by th plane's manufacturers, Halley Kft.
The prop is driven through a standard Rotax 582 gearbox.

I am currently looking at a firewall forward installation for the Safari and the Xpedition. Was looking at the EJ22 or EJ25 engines. Safari needs more horses so was looking at a 130-150hp engines. If someone has an engine lying around then please pm or mail me.

Stefan, depending on weight the EJ22 could be a good option. The EJ 22 comes in at 315 pounds, but that is 160 to 180 HP. I will mail you his personal mail address in the day.

Kontak vir Eben Mocke - Saraf op Microlighters. Hy het so rukkie terug 'n EJ22 gehad wat uit 'n RAF gyro kom. Die eienaar het upgrade gedoen na 'n EJ25. Baie lae ure - kompleet met ECU en re-drive. Was 'n sagte prysie as ek reg onthou.

Daai klink na bietjie baie perde vir die EJ22 maar wel in die kol vir die EJ25.

EJ22 is 106kg en 130hp en EJ25 is 116kg en 160hp as ek nou met my navorsing reg is. Die horses kan opgejaag word op die EJ22 na so 180hp en op die EJ254 na 260 plus.

Stefan dis hoe ek dit ook het, die Raf2000 Gyro vlieg al jare met hulle so en as jy met oom Eben praat sal hy ook vir jou sê jy los hulle net soos hulle is, moenie hulle "warem" maak nie en jy sal nie probleme kry nie. Die meeste Subarus wat probleme gee is die waarmee gepeuter is, die beste is ook die EJ reeks en in my volgende Jodel gaan ek die EJ25 insit, sal nog net besluit of dit direk of deur die ratkas gaan wees.
