Hi Turbo.

If I am not mistaken, your instructor Paul K owned one for many years and had heaps of hours on type.

He would be a good starting point.

Hi Turbo
There is 3 of them at Krugersdorp.
I've flown quite a few hours in them. Awesome aircraft, just a little heavy on the avgas if you are used to flying trikes.

Hi Turbo,

As of 2010, many Navions are still flying and there is an active Navion owners community. On 18 March 2003 Sierra Hotel Aero Inc. of South St. Paul, Minnesota purchased the type certificate, design data, molds and tooling, and says, as of Jan. 2013, that it is two to three years away from bringing the aircraft back into production.

Great looking aircraft!

hi AWACS 00

thats good news, so parts are going to be available again ... awesome! Anyways I have purchased this aery and have so many spares that came with it, i can almost build another plane, 3 engines, and so much more.

hoping to have my PPL done in the next month or so, so that by the time i have finished installing the avionics into the Navion, and connecting the hydraulics, she will be ready for her maiden flight -- ill start a new thread for those interested posting the progress as i go along.
