Tribal Croc fly away

Postby AWACS » Mon May 27, 2013 7:20 pm

The Petit Boytjies had a fly-away during the past weekend to Tribal Croc. (unfortunately Shark,Conrad $ McFly could not join us - anyway, your loss on a great weekend!)
Not our first vist there but once again a stunning success (despite Nkwazi's team close loss).
Still one of the very best of the best for any weekend away.

We had the most perfect flying weather during the entire weekend, especially on Saturday. Tribal Croc took us on some amazing flights over the Waterberg, to Zebula for coffee, Warmbaths for a landing, overhead Mabula, Mabalingwe and the beautiful surrounding bosveld.
Great bonfires at night and lekke cold stuff when needed.
The amazing hospitality of Francois & Landy is legendary!
Phoned for fuel - arranged
Transport between hangar and chalets - check!
Hangar space - check!
Firewood - check!
Genuine friendly hospitality -check!
Lots of game drives, game viewing and low level bush veld flying - check
Gt-450 flips -check! thanks Francois

Anyway, to all of you that has not been there and experienced this - you have missed out in a beeg way!

A special word of appreciation to Francois & Landy (and Lienke) - thank you for your great friendship and all the arrangements -we will be back, sure thing!

Thanks to my fellow pilots (Skin, Nkwazi, George and off course TRibal Croc)

A word of advice to the rest - go and experience genuine amazing flying, especially this time of the year.

I can only concur with AWACS sentiments. Awesome spot with stunning bushveld surrounds. The Tailwinds will also be routing there soon..(we are seriously overdue considering it is DBP's "other home" :) )

First you must deposit R5000 into the following bank acc.....

...just kidding.

You simply pitch up chom! Participation is the only pre requisite at FABA. The challenge is ussually finding a weekend that suits everyone's avalability! ^

July there's a Barberton fly away being planned as far as I'm aware but we really must make a plan to go up to Sibaka asap. Close enough to arrange a shortnotice too. :)

Must say I fully agree with AWACS,Tribal's is an awesome flyaway, was the Chain Gang's first flyaway when we landed there for a coke on route to Zebula with all the other crazies

Since then we have been there a bunch of times and can honestly say it just got berrer and berrer ##

As for the Petit Boyz, was nice flying with you at Numbi,Graskop where I had my Gods window experience. So I can believe URL had an awesome joll at Tribals

Hope to see all of you soon vhpy
