I also agree. For years had problems with my intercom and radio on the trike. Then I went to cry on Zulu's stoep and got the whole kit from him. Intercom, headsets, power supply for radio and V-Rabbit antenna. He took in my radio and made sure everything works together. Since the installation I had no more problems and crystal clear comms. What a joy to fly and actually be able to hear what others are saying and them to hear you clearly. The comms was so good that I could actually talk to cpt info when going through the cederberg.

Now flying the bushbaby I have the same system excluding the antenna. And I lose comms with cpt info in the cederberg. I know Zulu has been working on a fixed wing antenna but no news on it yet. Still, his system is the best. I get about 80 hours on a set of lithium batteries on the headsets.(not playing music)

I can't wait for an antenna for the fixed wings. I have endless problems with coms as at certain places, I can't hear JHB Info. Need an antenna as my trike coms are ten times better than the fixed wing.

Please ZULU1, help us out with a V-Rabbit for my Jabi

Chaps, I do understand the problem, with a Jabiru in particular as its composite without a "effective" ground plane. I know the design integrity but the tooling costs are a big issue. The trike antenna is cast ally, which tooling I made myself. The only way i can economically make small volumes will be to 3 d print them. Its the coil in the whip that may be a challenge but I think its possible...

Let me see what i can do...

I do believe every Jabiru owner will be interested in this project.
