Well, you guys did not make it to Sue but at least you got to see some of our flying valley. Was nice to fly with you Anthony, Freddy and Michelle as well as Noel. (^^)
The weather was perfect. Was Waterkloof manned when you went back?

Now you could also see that the area is not as intimidation as it looks on the map vhpy

Cheers

Loved every minute of it! vhpy
Thanks for having us Baasie at Aeroden, and Piet for joining us! (^^)
Piet, Waterkloof was manned on our way back, but were very accomodating. Freddy did well, considering there was bad signal interference on frequency in the area.
I loved the slow, irritated comms though...
ATC:Bravo....Oscar......Alpha.....please state your departure and destination airfields
BOA (Freddie): AER...O..DEN! Routing to Rhino Park!
Freddie, you did well talking to ATC considering the bad noise (^^)

Hey dudes, nice pics guys really glad the weather was kind to you guys at least.

Have you seen the thread under events for Asterix's 40th in June? So far from our neck of the cabbage patch it's myself and Bugwar going...

Let's get a bigger gaggle going guys. (^^)

Fri 7th Depart
Sun 9th Return

66NM (straight line from FABA)

Beginsel: S 26 47'14.68" E 29 12'53.70"

James needs numbers to plan Acc etc etc ( AND BEER! ) by end of April latest!

Really looking forward to this. (!!) Maxine (my softness) travelling through by car so we have ground support for fuel/luggage too.

Be nice if we get a few Rhino Horns to join us? Maybe meet up at Delmas and then travel through together?

Let's DO IT. (^^)

What an awesome weekend for flying! Thanx to Ants, Noel and Piet for a scenic flight to Harties and for my babe (Michelle) for the great photos! You gotta love this sport we do!!

Sorry about the low res on the photos - had to scale it way down to be uploaded!

@Ants - seems like even the Boeing pilots steer out of your way... evidence in the photo!

Noel - next time you can man the radio through Waterkloof! Those boyz were very accommodating with all the radio interference in the area!

I might just join you for the trip to Circus tomorrow now that my car's sorted (^^)
I believe Rhino Park hosted a fantastic easter egg drop this morning. We need pictures, or it never happened 8)

Ok, so softness did some design ideas for us Rhino Parkers. Please vote 1 or 2. Here goes:

It was fantastic, and there were plenty of cameras around, so I'm sure they'll surface sooner or later.

Thanks Rhino Park!

Here with a video clip of the event. Conditions were bumpy but still lots of fun
Video quality is a bit dodgy due to compression.

Nice wing drop over the first drop zone Piet! The kids definitely loved that aerobatics move LOL A big crowd like Friday makes our sport a whole lot more exciting! Thanx for the great summary of our trip!
