NANYUKI, Kenya, Feb 25 – A conservationist who was piloting an aircraft was killed alongside a Canadian journalist when the plane crashed in Mount Kenya forest on Monday.

Dr Anthony King had a passion for conservation like I have never seen before, and was a stickler for making sure funding from outside sources was well used, not squandered like usually happens in Africa. This is a huge loss for Kenyan conservation. RIP my friend.
