Funny Bastards!
Here is why I am quiet:
1. My aerie is still situated 75 km from home;
2. Licence lapsed November 2012 - bi-annual test flight needed;
3. ATF will lapse in a month;
4. Medical will lapse in May;
5. Work and life keeps on interfering;


BUT - I'll be back in the skies with a vengeance in a month or two - I'm gonna use the opportunity to do licence renewal /ATF / medical at the same time - then shit does not happen at various stages during any given year, but all at once in the same month.

By the way - the hangar thing - NOT GONNA HAPPEN.. After saving and getting quotes I get told that I cannot build my "hangar like that, I must build it like this", and, and, and. I am not spending R 120 000 on property ran by the Broederbond / Free Masons / Mafia.

LDV is willing to adapt his existing hangar to accomodate my trike (one trike), on my cost. I will go that route. Stuff the aspirant politicians at the field.
