Thank you CAA!

Postby Loco » Mon Nov 05, 2012 2:31 pm

Wow guys had the most pleasant experience at the CAA just now

I was mentally prepared to go in there, be messed around from queue to queue and having to come back some other day to collect my documentation...

Low and behold as I walked in I was directed to the correct department, made prompt payment, waiting at most 10 minutes then got my registration papers! Pronto!

Imagine if all government departments operated like these guys!

Thanks again CAA keep up the good service!

PS. Now I have to go to RAASA to sort out my ATF then I can finally fly with my own aerie! Hope their service is as good as the CAA...

Cheers

Hey Ant,

Let me tell you, I went on Thursday to get my ATF at Raasa, and this is my 3rd ATF i have done, wow great service is all I can say...got there with all my Docs, they checked them and said all is in order I paid my R200 and they asked me to come back in 1 hour, I got back just after 1 hour was up and all my paperwork was ready for me...signed approved and in my hands....awesome service from RAASA.... (^^) (^^)

The people who struggle are usually....and I say again USUALLY (i know there are exceptions  )....the ones who do not have everything in order. Always phone ahead and make sure you have every piece of documentation necessary...whether it's CAA or RAASA before you go.

We have had no issues with either Organisation and I was impressed too. (^^)

If your paperwork is in order,RAASA will take about an hour (!!) -go to the cafe at Rand, and eat something while you wait.

I have had nothing but top flight service from RAASA, ever since they have been in existance. The little I have with CAA, has also been great. great people to deal with. =D*

Aero Club - useless!! I needed to send a copy of my aero club membership form with my ATF renewal, still waiting for it, this after paying my fees mid December last year!! The best that they could give me was a letter of good standing which RAASA accepted - thanks Willem.

RAASA - continue to be very happy with their service, and Willem is always approachable, and gets back to you when he says he will !!!!

ICASA, fortunately a receipt of payment is sufficient now - just shows how we have had to drop our standards - I have no other dealings with them and do not look forward to the day that I have to.

I have no dealings anymore with CAA, but there have been a number of very complimentary comments on AvCom re their service of late =D*

I believe in complimenting where due, and complaining where necessary

Now what to do with the rest of the uncivil service ($$)

Hey Vernon, still alive and kicking xxx

When are you coming up to visit, I must have come down to see you at least three times this year - the fact that was wanting to sponge off you is irrelevant vhpy

I still owe you some of that exhaust tape / bandage, it is going fast :)

I havn't forgotten about the tape, but I am a patient man. Wait till your next atf!!!!. Bernard said the oil was 350.00. He gets it in Umtata. Don't know if it is any cheaper up your way. How is Morne' doing with his repair?
Regards Vernon.
