Check www.bmaa.org for second hand trikes. Heard it about R30K-R40K to ship it airmail over here. Am sure big G can help with guys doing inspection pack and ship on that side...Arnulf wrote:Hi,
Thanks for the prices.
Pity that there are no performance figures for the Air Creation trikes. I scratched in their website, but besides the marketing![]()

there is not a lot of specs, at least I could not find any.
Zulu1 wrote:This might be worthwhile investigating a bit closer, especially if a couple of trikes are imported. Into a 20' container, if properly packed, several trikes should fit in. This would result into substantial economics of scale.there are some good buys in Second hand planes.
Does anybody know if the secondhand trike prices are cyclical? This appears to be the case with secondhand motorbikes in Europe. If the weather turns k@k in autumn, the prices generally dip.

Oh yes, and by the way, oh Zulu1, I have always wondered, with your nickname, you are not by any chance King Goodwill Zweletini?
I hope this question is not considered disrespectful.

You would probably have to get a pommeranian licence, or at least a validation on your SA licence. I believe the poms are a bit sticky in that respect, and a tad heavy handed when collecting the ££££ for those frivolous undertakings. Definately a lack of humour on their part.Skill would be to spend a month in sunny England and fly it around a bit then rent it to your mates to do the same and ship it back???

Not at all...
Long story behind the name and I will tell you one day over a beer...but in the interim my aerie is registered ZU-LU I but Jica (chairman of our club) hacked the end of the I off and its now ZULU1 as most people on the KZN north coast know it as. I radio call this...
But I also praat the taal. I also spent years in Swaziland and became self appointed Lord Mayor of Matsapha International.
I flew in the UK a couple of years back the licence is expensive but normally two out of three rule exists. I dont know why though that you couldnt change to ZU whilst over here. I will actually investigate this as I will be over here quite a bit this year and rather like the idea of a few fly ins. I will call Mr deck Landing this morning and discuss. I will update you via the forum.
Ciao Paul
