Skyranger to Ladysmith

Postby Porra » Thu Mar 22, 2012 8:20 am

(^^) Wow, what a trip! First to get that passed the softness......eish! but when i got to Circus at 05h00 on Wednesday the 21st got the plane filled up and ready to go, we were airborn at 06h10 and off to Ladysmith to deliver the Skyranger ZU-EOZ to its new owner Larry at Rainbow Air School in Ladysmith. What a beautiful flight it was. Took Dean for his first xcountry and did he enjoy it! Landed in Ladysmith at 08h00 just to see how busy the airfield was! What an awesome sight! Larry has an awesome opperation there too! If you ever in the area, pop in and give Larry a visit. They are a real friendly bunch down there. Larry, thanks again for the opertuinity to fly that awesome Skyranger down for you AND then for the flight back in the C172!!!!!! That was awesome!! (^^)

Great to hear someone else is enjoying a Skyranger as much as I enjoy mine![ ZU EZA].It is a fantastic little aircraft and although slower than many others, it is forgiving yet can do some great flying when pushed a bit. Even with full load it performs willingly and without funny quirks. Stalls are gentle and short field landings a breeze. (^^) (^^)
