Zwartkops AFB flying in ?????

Postby pietmeyer » Mon Feb 27, 2012 7:57 am

Don't you all think that it is time again for a flip to Zwartkops AFB again? (**)

McFly, we have not seen many posts in a while and you have not even once been back to visit us at Ingwe or Aero57. I am sure the penalty to pay for that is arranging another fly-in like last year. I am willing to help if needed but think the time is right for another fly day (^^) (^^) (^^) (^^)

How about more than 100 trikes this time?

Just thinking out loud as they say, if you thinks it, it can happen.......or something like that vhpy vhpy vhpy vhpy vhpy vhpy

Hey Pieter! shit! you are an impatient person. I'm discussing the fly-in with Col.Sheperd and it looks like June/July. I also need to clear up some issues with John Boucher and MISASA with regards to some technical issues.I will keep you posted :wink:

1. Gaan laag rond donner oor Rietvlei dam nie;

2. Deurmekaar raak met 100 trikes in die lug oor hoe die circuit werk nie;

3. In die pad van 'n KATAR airways A 360 beland wat nie verstaan dat hy te laag is nie. " Mee noah seee you. Me over ah ah aaterklof. meah biiig ah arobahs - ah daniel san! me ah no want ah splattah on ah wienscrien! (-) (**) (**) xxx

Dont worry James...I will be on your wing....just to make sure you know when we are going east or west along Pinedene. :lol:

Landing on that massive runway is really something. Last time I nuffed it by flaring too high...this year I will be spot on. ##

I'll be there! (^^)

Gav... I think we are being far too hard on ourselves....we were both able to re use the aircraft so they must have been great landings! :lol:

But seriously guys this is one awesome place to fly into.... my advice is to just make sure you are less than 30 ft off the ground when you start to flare :lol: :wink:
