Rhino Poaching

Postby bobthebuilder » Wed Jan 11, 2012 12:55 pm

Take a look at this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OkoPQwYL9ys

An average of 37 rhinos are killed each month. 37!
Are poachers that elusive?

Can we do something about this?
Can we get permits to fly over the major parks?
Can anti-poaching patrols be arranged?

I think you are going to struggle to get any response from the parks.
On 23/11/10 i sent an email to Rusty at Borakalo to get permission for the Kroon guys to fly there stating that it was at no cost for them and we would forward reg.no. etc. They must give us a contact no.
Rusty replied my email on 02/12/10 and said he would forward my email to his manager.Up to now no response from anybody.
Wonder why?

Regards
Theo

Makes you wonder ....

I know that Alex Rudd used to do anti poaching patrols.
Maybe he has a contact?
