Max Clear. R.I.P.

Postby Dirk van Dort » Sun Nov 13, 2011 7:37 pm

It was with great sadness that i learnt of the passing of Max Clear in New Zealand. father of the Bantam B22J, Max brought thousands of hours of joy to so many pilots in his outstanding aeroplane.
Max, a highly qualified pilot, had been battling cancer for a number of years, but on saturday he was called to the big airport in the sky where i have no doubt he will be flying his beloved Bantam B22J.
Rest in peace dear friend, so many of us will be eternally grateful to you for your contribution to our flying experiences.

Late Saturday afternoon at Buffelspoort and I think this is a pic explains what Max achieved, for so many pilots. RIP Max.
