We were heading for FASD via Yzerfontein on Saturday when that slight glitch occurred.
Eendekuil is on the agenda, depending on weather.

Yip, you can count me in as soon and my engine is fixed up and the plane is airworthy again. Couple of weeks at most.

Cheers,

Those were consumed in a pasture west of Darling Cellar on Saturday Old Timer!
We will have to start all over again with arrangements for a new brekkie opportunity to convince V to do them again, or maybe you'll volunteer?

Hmm, maybe we should look at a 'brekkie' while I'm engine-less so that I can concentrate on the food ...

I skipped the steak tatar last Saturday, because of the heat, but there were gypsy ham and smoked liver pate sandwiches instead and some cold pizza too.

Hi Jean,
JeanTree wrote:Hey V , hows the earie doing ? Did Tommy get your trike going again?
yes, thanks for asking, Tommy sorted out everything. He made a really good one from the two engines and we did some improvements on the trike too. Once we figured out the right torque for the output gear we were on our way and I've put a good couple of trouble-fee hours on the plane.

Cheers,

V.

Hi,
bluesmancoops wrote:can't open video - says needs plug-in and there is not one available for firefox???
you need to install the xvid codec from here: http://www.xvid.org/Downloads.15.0.html. Sorry, I couldn't make the video flash, the flv codec kept crashing on my system.

If the streaming still doesn't work after installing xvid, you can download the avi file from here: http://www.nvcode.com/content/2011-10-0 ... flying.avi and launch it directly from your hard disk. This is an excellent general-purpose video player: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ that will definitely work. However, if you have xvid, Windows Media Player will play the file too.

Cheers,

V.
