namakwaland

Postby lamercyfly » Thu Sep 29, 2011 9:23 pm

Hi folk.

Check out facebook 'comefly! pilot centre' for a video and some still shots of my flight up to the flowers a couple of weeks ago.

Can also check you tube. Search for 'microlight safari namakwaland', or try this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yDPt8YwvQtA

The video for the above was uploaded in Low Defintion, so watching on 'full screen' is not the best..

Enjoy and cheers.

Hello Hak..

Thanks for the comment.. I estimate the final product, which will be in 25frames per second, High Resolution and High Defintion, will sell for about R150 incl postage to anywhere in SA.

The final DVD will be produced from over 20 hours of video footage and over 1 500 still photos. I am aiming to limit the total time to maximum 25 minutes.. There will be interviews, music, voice overs, still pics plus the usual GOPro HD footage. The movie footage will be split between 'wing tip' and 'pylon looking forward' mounting viewpoint.

I expect to take another month before final edit. It's a lot of work. To give you an example, this 8 minute movie took 10 hours to produce. But it is lekka work.

... I do it because I like to do it... that's my motto in all things :-D

Cheers.

With you Vern -

It is very peaceful here.

But as I said, it was nice to see the hills and mountains in the video - absolutely no high ground here.

John
