Jeppesen maps

Postby Lesser_spotted_owl » Mon Sep 05, 2011 12:34 pm

When i first started flying I bought a Jeppesen VFR map of the Joburg special rules area, It has now come to the end of it's life and i want a new one (also the special rules areas have changed)

I cannot for the life of me remember where i bought it, does anyone know where we can get on?

I need 2, Mrs Lesser spotted owl started her licence at the weekend, and i don't share well

Hey Andrew,

Congrats on the Mrs doing her Licence. How did she enjoy the lesson saturday? (**)

Anyway, I know Comet has the Jeppesen maps, just not sure how updated they are...

Thanks Gary,

They didn't have the one i wanted at Comet, the ones i bought are good enough, but i liked the other one better.

She had a ball, really enjoyed it. Going to need another plane now i think, i suspect the Cobra is now hers

Awesome Andrew,

Very happy that you have some awesome experience to share...Now it would be a case of who gets to fly ##

I have all the Maps on cd and a hobby shop in Rand Park Ridge sells them for R50.

Safe landings :!:
