South Africa to Namibia flight

I am planning to fly with a Bushbaby from Komatipoort to Swakopmund in Namibia just after the long weekend on 26 April 2011.

The route planned (1.5 - 2.5 hours stop-overs are planned):
1. Komatipoort
2. Ermelo
3. Wesselsbron
4. Warrenton
5. Uppington
6. Karasburg
7. Mariental
8. Solitaire
9. Swakopmund

Any comments and tips will be welcomed.

Is customs available at Karasburg ?

I think you need to route from Upington to Keetmashoop

Karasburg is the only problem. I will have to get special permission to land there to refuel. If I cannot get permission then I will have to land on a farm and arrange fuel from him. We have enough contacts there to arrange that.

You are allowed a technical stop to refuel between Upington and Keetmans.
